The 100 centavos tipos

The 100 centavos are probably the 4th largest denomination produced, considering the numbers of stamps. Like for the 50 centavos, the forgers would have liked it had the demand been higher. But for high-value stamps there was little general demand. Smaller cities had no demand at all so it would have been foolhardy for the forgers to manufacture many representative high-value stamps. They pretty much stuck with Mexico City, Veracruz, Morelia, Queretaro and Saltillo.

So of the 29 offices represented with tipos, only 5 were represented with 100 centavos tipos.

The 100 centavos tipo paper is a dangerous match of the production paper.
